ABOUT
Northmen Hoops is a recreational basketball league in North Smithfield RI, with both a boys and girls program, formed by a group of parents in the fall of '12 after NS Hoops dissolved their winter basketball program, we focus on instruction and fundamentals through practice, clinics and games.
Since the Fall of 2014 Northmen Hoops has worked to develop a bridge between the recreational level and middle and high school teams in North Smithfield, you will find team members of all school teams as well as members of the middle and high school coaching staff not only working with the youths in our program but also refereeing games and often visiting the gyms to watch games.
In late June of 2015 Northmen Hoops also took over the summer basketball program from NS Hoops after their successful 18 year run. Northmen Hoops has started working with and fostering programs with local AAU programs and hopes to soon offer additional competitive levels of basketball.
